S-T-A-N-D-ing up: BCIMSM leaders go to Tagaytay City for training and planning
Thirty of BCI Marikina-San Mateo officers and leaders convened at the CCT Retreat Center, Tagaytay City last December 26-27, 2024, with the twofold aim of being refreshed or trained in S.T.A.N.D. and planning activities for 2025. Rev. Eugene Recerone led the two-day activity, with the assistance of elders and youth leaders in facilitating the activity.
The acronym STAND stands for Salvation, Truth, Assurance of Salvation, Nourishment for Growth, and Devotedness to Serve God. These served as the topics of the first day. Resource persons were Pastor Eugene, Engr. Bro. Kyle, Bro. Den, Pastor Russell, and Engr. Bro. Son.
Youth leaders, through Bro. JC and Bro. Patrick, also handled the topic "Sharing the Gospel", teaching the participants how to evangelize for soul winning.
The second day was marked by a review of the BCIMSM's vision and mission, goals, and culture. This was followed by an assessment of the 2024 and planning for 2025 through breakout sessions among heads of families, women spouses, and youth.
