In recognition of the pioneering role of the Marikina Fundamental Baptist Bible Church (MFBBC) in the spreading of the Word of God in the so-called city of shoes, the BCI Marikina-San Mateo attended the 60th year celebration of the church on June 30, 2024, at Teatro Marikina, Marikina City.

During the event, the humble beginnings of the church were recounted and key milestones in its development presented. A number of special performances marked the celebration.

Dr. Rosendo Collado delivered his message as guest speaker. He centered it on Christian faithfulness.

Rev. Eugene Recerone, head pastor of BCIMSM, is one of many pastors having led the MFBBC. He served as its pastor for the period 1990-1994.
